Machine Intelligence Group Leader and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff | Draper

Troy Lau Ph.D. is the Machine Intelligence Group Leader and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Draper. His team of 30 staff and students have diverse backgrounds in physics, electrical engineering, biostatistics, biology, computer science, economics, and aeronautics. They have deployed operational big data/machine learning technologies for the intelligence community as well as commercial customers and have delivered capabilities across a range of domains from biomedical, financial, defense, intelligence, and other areas.

Dr. Lau received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Michigan studying computation neuroscience and the complex relationship between network topology and function in the brain. He has authored 10 refereed journal articles these relevant fields and presented work over a dozen times.
